You can be an English Civil War soldier or civillian.
You could be a pikeman, wear iron armour and be issued with a sword and 16 foot long pike.

We provide all the clothing and equipment.
All you need to provide to get started is your enthusiasm.
You could soon be a musketeer and be armed with a real musket and sword. We provide all the weapons from our armoury and train you how to use them safely.
You could be a matross - an artillerist, and serve our magnificent artillery piece. You cannot imagine what it is to load a real cannon and hear it fire until you have experienced it.
You could be a civilian and be a cook, an artisan or a specialist. You can develop existing skills in an historic setting. If you enjoy needlework, imaging how much more thrilling it is to sew in a castle or stately home.
Everybody is welcome
Our regiment is composed of women and men of all ages and children of all sizes. We all enjoy sharing our new experiences and re-enactment life together.
After the visiting public have left for the evening, we all sit round the fire together and share a well-earned meal and the occasional drink.
If you already enjoy camping, come camping with us. We camp in the grounds of castles and stately homes all over the country and we don't even have to pay for this privilege. Watching the sun set over the battlements of a castle as you share a beer around the fire is a heart-warming experience.
You don't have to be an Einstein or Brad Pitt
to join us. Just enthusiastic.
